Žižek says latest Spider-Man film and Taylor Swift leave him cold

Slovenian philosopher Slavoj Žižek told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published 12 September 2026 that he watched the latest Spider-Man film and tried listening to Taylor Swift but understands neither's appeal. The remarks came in an interview about The Pervert's Guide to Utopias, his third documentary with director Sophie Fiennes, he told the outlet.
