Woman Unknown wins Golden Lion at Venice

May el-Toukhy's Woman Unknown won the Golden Lion at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, Variety reported. The official awards were announced at a 7:00 pm ceremony on 12 September, organiser La Biennale said. La Biennale lists the Denmark-Sweden-Latvia production as centred on Marie, a nanny about to marry widower Christian while guarding a secret.
