Sombra to move from Damage to Support in Overwatch Season 5 rework

Blizzard announced during BlizzCon 2026's opening ceremony that Overwatch's Sombra will move from Damage, the finishers, to Support, the healers and protectors. Her Hack will become Hotfix, hacking packs and deployables while healing allies. Virus will become Cyberspace, healing teammates and weakening enemies. The rework is planned for Season 5.
