Blizzard announces World of Warcraft Forever for WoW Classic

Blizzard revealed World of Warcraft Forever during BlizzCon 2026's opening ceremony. The new iteration of WoW Classic adds new content while retaining its old-school world and gameplay, staying on Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. Beta goes live 17 September, with full launch scheduled 4 November. The existing normal version remains playable.
