Blizzard to add Xal'atath as first new Heroes of the Storm hero since 2020

Blizzard will add Xal'atath to Heroes of the Storm as a playable character, announced during the BlizzCon Opening Ceremony. She is the first new hero since Hogger in 2020. She enters the Public Test Realm, a separate test build, on 14 September, with full release on 28 September, according to GameSpot reporting published 12 September 2026.
