'Ah Girl' set for North American premiere in Toronto Centrepiece

Singapore director Ang Geck Geck Priscilla's feature debut "Ah Girl" will have its North American premiere as a Centrepiece selection at Toronto, Variety reported. The Singapore film is listed in a 2026 Centrepiece programme drawing entries from 50 countries, according to TIFF. TIFF describes it as a bittersweet yet heartwarming story of a young girl becoming an adult.
