Netflix Developing Animated Diablo Series, Blizzard Announces

Netflix has an animated Diablo series in development, Blizzard president Johanna Faries announced at BlizzCon 2026's opening ceremony at the Anaheim Convention Center, Variety reported Sept. 12. The show adapts Blizzard's Sanctuary-set franchise, which Variety notes began in 1996 with Diablo IV launching in 2023. In development, meaning work before any premiere is set, brings no release date yet.
