Saffie Osborne becomes first woman to win British Flat Classic

Saffie Osborne rode Highwayman to win the St Leger at Doncaster on 12 September, BBC Sport reported. She is the first female jockey to win one of Britain's five Flat Classics — the established top-level Flat races. No woman had won the 1,000 Guineas, 2,000 Guineas, Oaks, Derby or St Leger before.
