Hesson open to Pakistan Test role on permanent basis
Mike Hesson says he is open to coaching Pakistan's Test side permanently. He took over on an interim basis after Sarfaraz Ahmed was removed following heavy defeats at Headingley and Lord's. Pakistan then lost by eight wickets at Edgbaston. Hesson has coached Pakistan's limited-overs sides since May 2025 and led New Zealand from 2012 to 2018.
