Oscar-winning producer Jeremy Thomas dies aged 77

Jeremy Thomas, Oscar-winning producer of "The Last Emperor," died Sept. 11 aged 77 at his Oxfordshire home, Variety reported. His team said he died peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones, Variety reported. He founded Recorded Picture Company and co-founded Hanway Films, and produced more than 80 features, Variety reported.
