Warner Bros. mounts 'Get Smart' reboot with Grahame-Smith scripting, Lazar and Roven producing

Warner Bros. is rebooting 'Get Smart,' the 1965 Mel Brooks–Buck Henry spy satire. Seth Grahame-Smith pens the screenplay; Andrew Lazar, producer of the 2008 Steve Carell film, produces alongside Chuck Roven of the Dark Knight trilogy. John Mulaney is circling the lead, Variety reports. The project is in early stages; no deal is closed.
