Oasis object as 200-plus recording archive heads to auction in October

Littlehouse Auctions in the United Kingdom will sell 209 DAT tapes, 73 cassettes and three MiniDiscs of Oasis concerts, rehearsals and private conversations on October 3, estimated at £1.2 million to £1.6 million (US$1.62 million to US$2.16 million). The band wants the tapes returned. Consignor Owain Richards told The Times Oasis contacted him years ago requesting them back.
