Malkovich Quits Tel Aviv 'Music Critic' Date Over Fabricated Quotes

John Malkovich withdrew from a 13 April 2027 Tel Aviv performance of his stage show 'The Music Critic' after a PR firm hired by the Israeli promoter drafted quotes attributed to him without his consultation or approval, Variety reported on 8 September 2026. Malkovich said the printed quotes do not reflect his feelings and that he therefore cannot participate.
