AMC pays $120 million to settle Walking Dead profits dispute, cutting cash flow forecast

AMC Networks will pay $120 million to settle a nine-year profits dispute with five Walking Dead producers — Kirkman, Hurd, Alpert, Eglee and Mazzara — avoiding an October trial in Los Angeles. A securities filing shows $85 million due this month, $35 million by 31 January 2027. The payout lowers AMC's free cash flow forecast from $220 million to $150 million.
