Brennan takes fourth Vuelta stage win aged 21 in debut Grand Tour

Matthew Brennan, 21, won Stage 16 of the 2026 Vuelta a España — a 181km medium-mountain stage from Cortegana to Palos de la Frontera — outsprinting Bryan Coquard and Vito Braet. It is the Briton's fourth stage win of the race and his first-ever Grand Tour. Wout van Aert led out the Visma-Lease a Bike rider for the sprint.
