Netflix will begin publicly reporting box office grosses for its theatrical releases — the first time the streamer has disclosed those figures, Variety reported on 8 September 2026. The decision coincides with a slate expansion to 13 theatrical films in 2026, up from three in 2025. The marquee test is 'La Bola Negra', set for a 46-day run from 16 October.
