Danish brand OMHU makes its own dupe — and sells out in 10 minutes

Copenhagen-based OMHU released the Tedy, a self-made knock-off of its Teddy sofa bed, priced at US$799.99 against the original's US$1,995. Same materials, different colour, deliberately misspelled name. All 50 pieces sold out within 10 minutes on Temu, Etsy and Dupe.com on 5 September, according to the company. The strategy: outdupe the copycats rather than sue them.
