Billie Eilish Wraps Feature Acting Debut in Focus Features' 'The Bell Jar'

Focus Features has wrapped production on its adaptation of Sylvia Plath's only novel, The Bell Jar. Billie Eilish makes her feature acting debut as protagonist Esther Greenwood, opposite Carey Mulligan as Mrs. Greenwood. Sarah Polley directs from her own screenplay — her first feature since winning the 2023 adapted-screenplay Oscar for Women Talking. Plan B, Studiocanal and Joy Coalition produce.
