ALIPH Commits $500,000 in 2026, Targets $15 Million to Protect At-Risk Film Archives Through 2032

ALIPH, the Geneva-based heritage foundation, has allocated $500,000 for emergency film-archive projects in 2026 and targets $15 million to sustain the program through 2032, according to Variety. Announced at the Lumière Summit in France, it is ALIPH's first engagement with the film sector. Pilots in Ukraine, Syria and Indonesia address conflict, institutional collapse and environmental damage respectively.
