Crows fans hit with $1,000-plus airfares to reach Brisbane semifinal

Adelaide Crows fans face return flights exceeding $1,000 to attend the AFL semifinal against Brisbane at The Gabba on Saturday 12 September. By midday 7 September, the cheapest one-way fares to Brisbane were above $500 across all major carriers — up from under $100 on some routes. Eyre Peninsula supporter group president Janice Regan said prices "went through the roof" at the final siren.
