Martin McDonagh's 'Wild Horse Nine' premieres at Venice, Searchlight sets November 6 release

Martin McDonagh's first film since 'The Banshees of Inisherin' launched at the Venice Film Festival on September 3, 2026, screening in the Venezia 83 Competition. John Malkovich, Sam Rockwell, Steve Buscemi and Parker Posey headline the cast. Set before the 1973 Chilean coup, the 118-minute UK-USA-Chile co-production was only the second feature shot on Easter Island. Searchlight releases it theatrically on November 6.
