Lucas Museum of Narrative Art opens 22 September 2026 in Los Angeles

The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, founded by filmmaker George Lucas and businesswoman Mellody Hobson, opens to the public on 22 September 2026 at Exposition Park in Los Angeles. Beijing studio MAD designed the five-storey building, sheathed in 1,271 fibre-glass-reinforced polymer panels. Ground broke in March 2018; the inaugural exhibition partners with German publisher TASCHEN.
