McDonagh's 'Wild Horse Nine' premieres at Venice, reaches theatres November 6 via Searchlight

Martin McDonagh's 'Wild Horse Nine' screened September 3 in competition for the Golden Lion at the 83rd Venice Film Festival. The darkly comedic drama stars John Malkovich and Sam Rockwell as CIA agents on Easter Island before Chile's 1973 coup. Cast includes Steve Buscemi, Tom Waits and Parker Posey. Searchlight Pictures releases the 118-minute UK–USA–Chile co-production theatrically on November 6, 2026.
