Norwegian police extend Høiby's house arrest past King Harald V's funeral with his consent
Oslo police extended the house arrest of Marius Borg Høiby, son of Crown Princess Mette-Marit and stepson of King Haakon, beyond its original 7 September end date. Høiby consented rather than contest the ruling. His defence attorney Petar Sekulic told Nettavisen that Høiby "does not agree there is a risk of recurrence" but accepted further detention to avoid attention around King Harald V's funeral.
