Former ICE Leader Lyons Joins Private Homeland Security Consulting Firm

Todd Lyons, who led U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement from March through May 2025, has taken a senior vice president role at a private consulting firm advising on homeland security and international affairs. Lyons oversaw ICE during heightened immigration enforcement under the Trump administration, managing expanded detention operations and dealing with Congress. His move follows a pattern of senior Department of Homeland Security officials joining firms that advise federal contractors.
