Windows on Arm finally clears compatibility hurdle as Samsung enters market
Samsung's Galaxy Book 6 Edge, launched June 15 with Snapdragon X2 Elite silicon, joins a widening slate of Copilot+ PCs from Lenovo, Dell, HP, and Microsoft. Windows on Arm historically stumbled on x86 software compatibility—a technical barrier preventing older Windows programs from running smoothly. The Snapdragon X series has substantially closed that gap. The platform is now mature enough that enterprise and professional buyers can evaluate it without significant caveats.
