Google Sues Criminal Group Behind AI Phishing Operation

Google filed a civil RICO lawsuit against the Outsider Enterprise, a cybercriminal organization using AI to generate fake login pages for hundreds of websites. The group hosted these spoofed pages on Google's own infrastructure—Google Cloud and Drive—exploiting the trust those services carry to bypass security filters and harvest credentials at scale.
