Meta Uses Temporary Tent Data Centers to Speed Up AI Buildout

Meta has deployed six fabric-enclosed data centers at its Ohio campus to cut construction time in half. The tents house AI hardware while permanent buildings are still being built, letting the company activate accelerators faster than traditional construction allows. The real bottleneck remains grid power and electrical connections, not the buildings themselves.
