Chelsea drawn against Real Sociedad in Women's Champions League qualifying

Chelsea will face Real Sociedad over two legs for a place in the Women's Champions League's new 16-team league phase. The first leg is at home on 26 August; the second in Spain on 2 September. Chelsea, 2021 runners-up and six-time semi-finalists, entered qualifying after their lowest WSL finish since 2019 — third. Their league campaign opens three days after the second leg.
