Spider-Man film drives 316,000 game copies and US$11M for Sony

Since Spider-Man: Brand New Day opened in cinemas on 31 July 2026, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 sold an estimated 316,000 copies across PS5 and PC, generating roughly US$11 million for Sony, according to Alinea Analytics. The 2023 game moved about 15,000 copies per day at US$30 on PS5 — versus 6,300 daily at the same price during a February promotion.
