Ann Hui to Receive 2026 Camellia Award at Busan International Film Festival

Hong Kong director Ann Hui will receive the 2026 Camellia Award at the 31st Busan International Film Festival's opening ceremony on 6 October at the Busan Cinema Center, per The Hollywood Reporter (11 August 2026). The award, presented in partnership with Chanel, honours filmmakers who have advanced the standing of women in the industry. Hui, 79, is the third recipient after production designer Ryu Seong-hie and Sylvia Chang.
