Téa Leoni and Tim Daly cast as married couple in NBC's 'Newlyweds' months after real-life wedding

Téa Leoni and Tim Daly, who married in July 2025, play a married couple in NBC's multi-camera comedy 'Newlyweds,' premiering October 23 at 8:30 p.m. ET. The pair previously spent six years as husband and wife on CBS's 'Madam Secretary' (2014–2020). Jamie Lee Curtis co-created the series with Gail Lerner and recurs as Daly's ex-wife. Deadline reported the casting on August 11, 2026.
