ZZ Top cancelled their Hollywood Bowl concert in Los Angeles on 11 August 2026 after drummer Frank Beard's health issues left him unable to perform. Billy Gibbons said on social media: "Insurmountable obstacles require canceling our Hollywood Bowl performance." A band spokesperson confirmed Gibbons and Elwood Francis will continue the Big One tour with drummer Michael Monahan replacing Beard.
