Hunt takes European 100m gold on home soil in Birmingham

Amy Hunt won her first major senior title, taking women's 100m gold at the 2026 European Athletics Championships in Birmingham on 10 August in 11.00 seconds. Ewa Swoboda took silver in 11.02; Delphine Nkansa bronze in a personal best of 11.05. Hunt, 24, was the favourite after world 200m silver and Commonwealth 100m gold.
