Delaware court gives Biggie's former manager control of Voletta Wallace's IP stake, defeating Faith Evans
On 7 August, Delaware Chancellor Kathaleen McCormick ruled that Wayne Barrow, The Notorious B.I.G.'s former manager, is the legal successor to Voletta Wallace's 50% stake in the rapper's intellectual property. The ruling defeats a challenge from Biggie's widow Faith Evans, whose countersued position "fails at many levels." Barrow now controls distribution of profits from a Primary Wave catalog deal valued at $100 million.
