Roc Nation denies Jay-Z album exists after executive's podcast claim

Roc Nation posted "Album done … Fake news" to its Instagram Story on 10 August 2026, hours after music executive Ray Daniels told his podcast that Jay-Z's first solo album since 2017's "4:44" was fully recorded. Daniels, a former senior executive at Warner, Universal, Interscope and Epic, claimed a partner was still being sought. Roc Nation is Jay-Z's label.
