Colombia Earthquake: Shakira, Maluma, Carlos Vives Redirect Social Platforms to Emergency Relief

After a 7.4-magnitude earthquake killed at least 111 people in western Colombia on Aug. 10, artists including Shakira, Maluma, Carlos Vives, Camilo, Greeicy and Goyo used their social platforms — reaching tens of millions — to share emergency information and relief details. Goyo, a Chocó native, posted she could not reach relatives. Maluma said artists were ready to help victims' families, Billboard reported.
