National MPs canvassing colleagues on leadership change ahead of caucus meeting

National MPs spent Monday phoning colleagues about a possible leadership change, the NZ Herald reported. One unnamed MP said: "There's going to be change in the top job. It's just a question of who is going to be it." RNZ spoke to about ten MPs and received mixed responses. The caucus — the party's MPs — was due to meet online Tuesday night, with Parliament in recess.
