Jacob Elordi is in negotiations to co-star opposite Scarlett Johansson in "Scapegoat," a thriller written and directed by Ari Aster, Deadline reported on 10 August 2026. A24 distributes; Aster and Lars Knudsen produce through Square Peg. If the deal closes, the plan is to shoot later in 2026. Elordi earned his first Oscar nomination for "Frankenstein" (2025).
