Marinakis sues Crystal Palace over fan banner depicting gun to Gibbs-White's head

Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis has filed a High Court defamation claim against Crystal Palace's parent company, CPFC Limited, over a fan banner shown at Selhurst Park last August. It depicted Marinakis holding a gun to Morgan Gibbs-White's head. The FA fined Palace £50,000 in July. Palace fans blame Marinakis for fuelling the UEFA probe that demoted them from the Europa League.
