William Morris Agent Jerry Katzman, Who Packaged The Cosby Show and Fresh Prince, Dies at 89

Jerry Katzman, a 30-year William Morris Agency veteran who helped package The Cosby Show, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Murphy Brown, Murder, She Wrote and Roseanne, died on 9 August 2026 in Los Angeles at 89. His family confirmed the death. Katzman joined William Morris in 1972 and rose to president and vice chairman. He was 89.
