GameStop CEO Ryan Cohen is weighing whether to withdraw the company's US$56 billion acquisition offer for eBay, according to Bloomberg. eBay rejected the bid, calling it "neither credible nor attractive." GameStop, valued at roughly US$12 billion, proposed paying eBay shareholders US$125 per share — half cash, half stock — for a company worth nearly US$54 billion. Cohen also scrapped a US$35 billion CEO performance award tied to the deal.
