Live Nation's Merch Traffic sues anonymous sellers over counterfeit artist merch, seeks $2 million per trademark

Merch Traffic, a Live Nation subsidiary and exclusive US licensing agent for Nirvana, Bruno Mars, The Notorious B.I.G., Harry Styles and others, filed suit on August 5 in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois against anonymous online sellers of counterfeit merchandise. The complaint seeks statutory damages of $2,000,000 per counterfeit trademark and injunctive relief.
