Russian Athletics files second CAS challenge against World Athletics ban

Russian Athletics has lodged a fresh claim with the Court of Arbitration for Sport against World Athletics' ban on Russian athletes, in place since February 2022. It is the federation's second CAS filing in a month. World Athletics reaffirmed the suspension in late July 2026, while gymnastics, aquatics and boxing have all eased restrictions on Russian competitors this year.
