UTA Signs Writer-Director Leah Nelson After Cannes Debut 'Tangles'

United Talent Agency has signed writer-director Leah Nelson for representation in all areas, Deadline reported on 10 August 2026. Nelson co-adapted and directed her first feature, the animated drama "Tangles," which world-premiered at Cannes in May 2026. The film is set for its North American premiere at TIFF's Centrepiece sidebar. Brillstein Entertainment Partners continues as her manager.
