Museum of London to open at Smithfield Market on 28 November

The Museum of London opens its new home on 28 November inside the Victorian meat halls of Smithfield Market. Save Britain's Heritage and the Victorian Society waged a decade-long campaign, succeeding in 2014, to stop developers replacing the market buildings with office towers and retail. The Corporation approved the museum's relocation to the site in 2015.
