Luxury Store Harvey Nichols Says It Could Run Out of Money Within a Year

Harvey Nichols, a 195-year-old luxury store, says it could run out of money within 12 months. No new funding has been agreed. The chain lost £105m in the year to March 2025. Owner Sir Dickson Poon put it up for sale in June; Mike Ashley's Frasers Group leads bidding at about £40m. The store hasn't turned a profit since the pandemic kept away big-spending foreign tourists.
