More of England Running Out of Water as Drought Spreads Across UK

On August 10, officials are expected to put more of England under drought status, meaning water is too scarce to meet normal demand. This already affects Wales and over half of England. Millions face bans on using garden hoses. England had its driest spring in 132 years, and a possible fifth heatwave could push temperatures to 36C.
