Dubai Sends Accused Crime Leader Back to Ireland

The UAE sent accused crime boss Daniel Kinahan back to Ireland on 9 August 2026, ending ten years of open life in Dubai. Sending a suspect from one country to another to face trial is called extradition. He flew on an Irish government jet to a special Dublin court for serious crimes. The US offered $5 million for him in 2022. His lawyer says he is innocent.
