Def Con: Thousands of Polish Government Websites Have Security Holes, Researchers Say
At Def Con on August 7, 2026, researchers Kruczek and Szczurowski reported that over 10,000 Polish public entities and 250,000 websites — including airports, hospitals, courts, and government offices — have security flaws attackers could exploit. One flaw exposed about two-thirds of Poland's court websites. For 300 sites, no fix exists because their software is no longer supported. Poland has no law requiring security testing.
